Many U.S. parishes use Fonkoze Bank to send funds to their sister parish in Haiti, rather than sending checks in the mail or using other means.

Fonkoze has two methods to transfer funds to twin parishes:
1.  Through Banque National de Credit, their partner bank in Haiti, or
2.  Through MoneyGram .  Fonkoze recommends Moneygram for transfers of $1,000.
